Allowances

7.5× M Plan Go (International)

x Go's usage per 5-hour window

›The vendor's own wording
The overview's usage table gives Build "7.5x" under "Usage relative to Go", and the card says "7.5× Go usage". The domestic Build is 12 times its own Go, a different base, so the two are never compared through each other.

x Go's usage per weekly window

›The vendor's own wording
The same "7.5x", carried on the weekly window for the same reason as Explore's.

Subscription versus your own API key

This compares two ways of working the same way — in an IDE or CLI, where BYOK tools make a direct API key a real option. It is not a claim that subscriptions are cheaper than the API in general.

No API price to compare against

Usage terms

Quoted from the vendor's own terms. We do not give legal advice.

MiniMax places no client restriction on the Subscription Key: "Any AI tool that supports the OpenAI-compatible or Anthropic-compatible protocol, such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode, Hermes Agent, and OpenClaw." The one qualification is advisory: "M Plan is designed for individual, interactive developer use, with higher-tier plans offering higher usage limits. Pay-as-you-go is recommended for production use."
