Aaron Levie
Box CEOThe OpenAI sandbox escape resets enterprise timelines for agent adoption
The incident showed both what agents can do and how unprepared most environments are for them. Enterprises now need audit trails, tight access controls, a decision about which systems stay deterministic, and the ability to block an agent that goes rogue. Even a well-intentioned agent asked to find all the important IP on a project will happily execute forever, hit stale access controls, and surface things nobody should see, because it faces no real risk and lacks the judgment a person has. Separately, Levie pushed back on Dwarkesh's argument that inference costs skyrocket as compute flows to the most valuable tasks, betting that too many model providers and infra players are competing for those workloads to let prices rise.
